Patches
and Petals is located in the heart of Belleville, a small village
outside of Madison, Wisconsin. We are a unique store in that we not only
offer everything you need for your quilting projects, but we also carry
gifts, collectibles and antiques.
We
opened in January 1998 in a 1500 square foot storefront. We started
with 600 bolts and lots of dreams. The shop has steadily grown to it's
current size of approximately 5000 bolts of fabric. In July 2001, our
rapid growth allowed us to move our store into a wonderful historical
structure that was built in 1905. The building was originally a 2 story
furniture store. It still has its original tin ceiling and wood floors
and we are firmly committed to preserving its integrity. We now have a
shop with plenty of natural sunlight, great parking, a wonderful
classroom and balconies that are perfect for displays.
We take
great pride in our store, where our high quality fabrics are combined
with gifts, patterns and books to create a quilter’s
paradise. If you are visiting southern Wisconsin make sure to include a
trip to Belleville and Patches and Petals. Our friendly, trained and
